Prof. Fialor was promoted to  Associate Professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness and Extension of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi in 2012. He graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bamgalore, India with a BSc Agricultural Marketing  and Co-operation in 1983 and MSc in Agricultural Economics in 1986. He was appointed a lecturer in the Department in October 1986 and proceeeded to the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in England in 1990 where he obtained his PhD in Agricultural Economics in 1994. Since then he has been at the KNUST, involved in teaching,  research in several areas of eoconomics relevance,, consultancy and different community services related to his professional area. His teaching and research works focus on the major topics in agricultural economics, with emphasis on agricultural marketing and policy, agribusiness and development economics issues.
