I am a Lecturer at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Biology at KNUST. I obtained my MPhil and PhD in 2013 and 2017 respectively both achieved at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Biology, KNUST. My research focus throughout both degrees revolved around the use of protoxins derived from Lysinibacillus sphaericus for mosquito control and its impact on entomological inoculation rate. I have over five (5) years of university-level teaching experience and research background spanning more than 10 years thus offering a comprehensive skill set to my role as a lecturer at KNUST.  Since my appointment in 2020 at KNUST, I have taught a diverse range of courses including Advanced and Basic Topics in Entomology, Climate Change and Vector-Borne Diseases, Scientific Research and Communication, Cell Structure, Principles of Physiological Functions, Biology for Mathematics, and Theories and Applications of Biological Science. In my pedagogical approach, I adopt student-centred teaching and learning methodologies to disseminate knowledge using contemporary teaching practices and technology to facilitate the learning process. I have supervised 62 undergraduate and one (1) completed and 2 ongoing MPhil students on various topics in Entomology and Parasitology. Additionally, I am currently co-supervising one (1) on-going PhD student.
