He serves as a Senior Lecturer and Consultant General Surgeon at both the School of Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and the University Hospital, KNUST. In 2014, he completed his postgraduate surgical training, earning Fellowships from the Ghana College of Surgeons (FGCS) and the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). His clinical and academic interests are rooted in Surgical Oncology, with a particular emphasis on breast and gastrointestinal cancers. He received advanced post-fellowship training in these specialties at the TATA Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India.His overarching goal is to improve cancer outcomes by promoting early detection and precise diagnosis, especially for breast and gastrointestinal malignancies. He is a co-investigator on the Precision Medicine for Aggressive Breast Cancer (PMABC) project based in Kumasi. His work is guided by a deep commitment to strengthening cancer care and advancing the practice of surgical oncology in Ghana.
