Dr. Martin Gyekye-Ampofo (FCILG, FAIET) is an educator by profession with thirty (30) years teaching experience and has taught at the various levels of education in Ghana. The levels were Primary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, College of Education and now at the University with a remarkable record of providing effective teaching and learning environment.He got the opportunity to co-author and co-taught KNUST IDL course modules MED 688: Practicum in Teaching (Micro Teaching), MED 571: Principles and Practice of Teacher Education and MED 663: Psychology of Human Development and Learning in 2015/16 academic year. In 2018 he was invited by National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) to be part of the experts to develop the Pre-Tertiary Standard-Based Curriculum for Ghana. He doubled as a writer for the Early Grade (KG) curriculum and an expert reviewer for the Creative Art Curriculum for the primary school. He was again selected to be part of the group tasked to write Test Items for the Standard-Based Curriculum. He was a lead facilitator to train national trainers for the Early Grade Curriculum. Dr. Martin Gyekye-Ampofo is a reviewer of several peer reviewed journals across the globe including; Education, Language, and Sociology Research Journal, ISSN 2690-3644 (Print) ISSN 2690-3652 (Online), Journal of Education, Society and Behavioural Science.  He was elected as the Assistant General Secretary of Global KNUST Alumni Association from 2015 to 2017.           His philosophy of teaching is to provide all learners, irrespective of their social, cultural, linguistic and ethnic background, with the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that would enable them to progress through school and contribute meaningfully to their society. This emanates from his experience as professional and interactions he had with the less endowed students in his career as a teacher.
