Mr. Kwasi Owusu Adade is a Senior Lectuter at the Department of Planning, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has enormous expereince in professional planning practise. Mr. Adade worked with the Transportation Division of the Building and Road Research Institute as a Senior Technical Officer between 1974 and 1975. During that period, he was in charge of Motor Traffic Accident Studies in both urban and rural areas of Ghana. He conducted studies on the causes of motor traffic accidents on urban and rural roads. Between 1996 and 1997, he was a member of the Building and Road Research Institute team that prepared a proposal for engineering services for the New Damang Village. He also served as a project leader for projects such as the preparation of planning scheme for ManKranso and Foase planning scheme. He was also a research officer in the Structures, Building Design and Planning Division during this period. Through his current work as a Senior Lecturer, he currently helps in the training of the next genration of planners at the undergraduate and post graduate level.
