Abena Amponsaa Brobbey is a senior lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, KNUST, Kumasi.  Abena obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in March 2000.  She obtained her MSc and PhD degrees from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Course of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagasaki University, Japan.Abena worked as hospital pharmacist from January 2001 to August 2013 at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).  She is specialist pharmacist in Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical products and solved varying manufacturing challenges during her tenure as Head of Manufacturing Unit at KATH.She joined the faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, KNUST, Kumasi in August 2010 as a part-time lecturer till August 2013, when she joined the University as full time lecturer.
